About Hans Peters
Peters began his career at the well-known ANEFO photo press agency in Amsterdam, capturing many different subjects at the time: politics, sports, portraits and daily news. The 1970s and 1980s are turbulent times and Peters, armed with camera, witnesses the train hijacking at De Punt, hostage taking and eruptions of complete anarchy such as the famous squatter riots. The demonstrations No Home No Coronation during the marriage of Beatrix and Claus are also recorded, and the Amsterdam photographer followed the Royal Family for years.
